What does BookWeave do?

BookWeave turns supported live speech and written notes into editable records that can be organised, searched, summarised, saved, and exported.

Can it hear a Teams, Zoom, or telephone call?

BookWeave can transcribe sound that reaches an approved microphone. Browser and mobile security restrictions mean it cannot promise direct capture of another application or every system audio source.

Does BookWeave work offline?

The application shell can provide a limited offline experience after installation, but sign in, cloud records, browser speech services, and AI features require a connection. “Offline. Private. Yours.” is BookWeave's guiding product promise, not a claim that every current feature is processed only on your device.

Where are saved records stored?

Approved users' saved records are stored remotely and linked to their signed in account so they can be opened on another device. They are not added to the public website or sitemap.

Which export formats are available?

BookWeave provides DOCX, TXT, Markdown, structured JSON, PDF, and EPUB downloads from the workspace.

Do I need permission to record?

You are responsible for informing participants and obtaining any consent required for recording or transcription in your location and situation.
